Is the child a male or female? The sex of the child represents the part of your self that is masculine or feminine.
Is the child just present but not doing anything or saying anything? Your inner child is present and observing your actions in the real world and wants to let you know that it is watching.
Is it angry or happy? This represents your inner child (your true self) response to your present life or the things that you are doing in your life.
Does the child have a message or says anything that stands out? What ever they are saying is what you really want in the core of your being but maybe unaware of it.
Are you upset at the child? This represent a conflict with who you really are and who you've become.
Is the child misbehaving? This represents a deep seated self hatred beneath the surface.
Are you and the child having fun together? Then there is harmony in your internal mind between who you are and your inner child.
